The Western Carolina men's and women's cross country teams traveled to former Southern Conference rival Appalachian State Saturday morning to compete in the Mountains to Sea Duals. The Catamounts faced competition from Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, College of Charleston, Georgia State, Lees-McRae, Louisburg College, North Carolina, Troy and UNC Wilmington. The women finished fifth in the 10 team field while the men took seventh out of nine programs.
